Lead end-to-end recruitment for commercial, hardware and manufacturing roles. Partner with executives to translate business needs into hiring outcomes, design programmatic sourcing and TA improvements, mentor the team, leverage TA tech and AI tools, and provide data-driven insights to improve pipeline health and hiring velocity.

Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end close; prepare complex GL entries; perform balance sheet reconciliations; manage intercompany and multi-currency accounting; support consolidated statutory financial statements, external audit, SOX compliance, and optimise ERP/GL processes.

Design and own electrical architectures and bespoke PCBs for defence platforms: component selection, ECAD layout, cable harnesses, communication interfaces (CAN/Ethernet/RS422/485), simulation (LTSpice), testing, integration, and documentation from requirements through validated prototype.

Build and iterate flight-ready UAV prototypes by designing, fabricating, and integrating airframes, wiring, power and avionics. Configure and troubleshoot autopilots (PX4/ArduPilot), run bench and field test campaigns, collect telemetry, refine CAD/FEA models, and remove integration bottlenecks to keep the developmental fleet operational.

Build and maintain high-fidelity simulation environments (6-DOF, aerodynamics, structures, engagement-level), run Monte Carlo and sensitivity analyses, validate models against flight/test data, support design trade studies and flight/range testing, and build tooling/infrastructure to make simulation accessible across engineering teams.

Lead system-safety across platforms by developing and maintaining the System Safety Programme Plan (SSPP), coordinating hazard identification, PHA and risk assessments, defining system-level safety architecture, ensuring traceability of safety requirements, integrating weapon-specific safety needs, producing safety evidence (e.g., SAR), and ensuring compliance with applicable safety regulations and standards.

Identify, assess and monitor hardware and software obsolescence risks across product lifecycles. Develop prevention and mitigation strategies, perform market surveillance under the Market Surveillance Act, maintain OM-DBs, and coordinate with engineering, procurement and service teams to ensure long-term system supportability.

Perform Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) and Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) per S3000L and MIL-STDs. Use LSA/RAMS tooling (e.g., Windchill LSA) to build and maintain supportability data, derive RAMS measures, contribute to design for availability, and manage LSA databases and LCC models throughout the system lifecycle. Collaborate with engineering teams and communicate in German and English.

Design and run multimodal sensor test campaigns across EO, LWIR, and LiDAR: specify and operate OGSE/EGSE/MGSE, perform intrinsic/extrinsic/temporal calibration and synchronisation, produce characterization and acceptance reports, support supplier qualification, investigate field failures, and feed validated sensor models and timing data to software teams.

As a Systems Architect for Electronic Warfare, you'll own the entire EW architecture, define capability roadmaps, translate operational requirements, and manage multi-sensor fusion architectures, driving digital engineering efforts and overseeing supplier governance.
