Own end-to-end creation, validation, and maintenance of HD maps for autonomous airport tractors. Intake mapping requests, edit maps (lanes, routes, regulatory elements) using Lanelet2/OpenStreetMap tooling and JOSM, submit pull requests through Map CI, validate in simulation and on-vehicle tests, document results, and coordinate vendor map deliveries.

Design and integrate mechanical systems for sensors, computing, and autonomous hardware on production vehicles. Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate designs; lead assembly, validation, and troubleshooting of retrofitted vehicles; collaborate with hardware, software, and systems teams; and mentor junior engineers while ensuring manufacturability and robust production-ready solutions.

Own and productionize core localization systems (state estimation, mapping, calibration). Build monitoring, diagnostics, validation, and deployment tooling. Integrate sensors, tune performance, run regression testing, and iterate using data from real autonomous airport operations to enable driverless capability.

Lead design, analysis, and verification/validation of autonomous vehicle subsystems. Develop data pipelines for V&V, author and maintain requirements and architecture artifacts, define safety behaviors, track KPIs, surface risks, collaborate cross-functionally, mentor junior engineers, and support deployments. Up to 25% travel.

Design, build, and maintain cloud-based data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS, integrating on-prem and cloud flows. Implement IaC, CI/CD, containerization, observability, and automation to ensure high-throughput, reliable data ingestion and processing for autonomous systems.

Field-based Integration Engineer who validates sensors and hardware, conducts autonomy and release-level testing, debugs autonomy software, maintains fleet software, collects and documents test data, and trains test operators. Regular travel to airports and outdoor testing; supports fleet health and field issue triage.

Operate and test autonomous tractors in the field, identify process/tooling improvements, report and analyze abnormal behavior using logs and system data, debug and help root-cause issues while collaborating with engineers.

Own and extend simulation tooling for autonomy: integrate simulators with the production autonomy stack, ensure determinism and reproducibility, run large-scale cloud scenario execution, build evaluation and triage tooling, author scenarios, and maintain pipeline performance and coverage for V&V and release gating.
