The Network Deployment Engineer II designs and supports optical systems and large-scale networks, collaborates with teams, and manages network deployments.

Designs, develops, tests, maintains, documents, and enhances software programs, including user interfaces and relational database integrations. The role gathers requirements from stakeholders, converts specifications into code, troubleshoots defects, provides technical support, reviews documentation, and trains users or support staff. It requires advanced software development experience, SQL and relational database knowledge, modern development tools, and familiarity with development methodologies.

Manages high-volume IT hardware procurement, purchase orders, supplier interactions, asset lifecycle records, master data, catalog administration, chargebacks, and RMA workflows. Supports new product introduction through RFQs, system-ID creation, product hierarchy setup, trade classifications, and customs valuations. Uses SAP and related procurement, planning, asset, and lifecycle systems while maintaining strict accuracy, turnaround, matching, and data-quality targets. Level III owns escalations, master-data quality, NPI coordination, and continuous improvement support.

The Network Deployment Engineer II designs, builds, and tests optical systems, managing network deployment, configuration, and support in data centers. Responsibilities include documentation, project management, and equipment asset management.

Leads stabilization, optimization, integration, and governance for SAP logistics platforms and in-transit visibility capabilities. Owns enterprise architecture, technical roadmaps, application portfolios, requirements, testing, release readiness, vendor performance, and operating-model maturity. Directs data and BI resources while delivering internal workflow, reporting, and routing applications. Establishes governance, metrics, support models, documentation, training, and knowledge transfer across cross-functional teams and external partners.

Provide advanced onsite and remote end-user technical support across Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile, VDI, collaboration and infrastructure technologies. Troubleshoot complex incidents, perform root-cause analysis, manage multiple support channels and executive escalations, maintain ITIL-based processes, create documentation, participate in deployments, and collaborate with engineering, security, and vendors to implement permanent solutions.

Lead cross-functional programs for server lifecycle, infrastructure software, and strategic infrastructure initiatives. Manage vendors, define KPIs/SLAs, coordinate engineers and ops for provisioning, firmware, monitoring, migrations, decommissioning, and readiness for GPU/high-density systems. Translate operational pain points into projects, track risks and dependencies, run reviews, and drive accountability to resolution.

Monitor alarms and handle cloud tickets; triage, escalate, and resolve incidents per SOPs and runbooks. Maintain shift continuity, documentation, and service reporting. Collaborate with SREs, vendors, and stakeholders, drive process improvements, and support major incident coordination and coaching for junior staff.

Coordinate and maintain project plans, schedules, tickets, and reports for IT-related implementations (networks, servers, software, PC deployments). Schedule reviews, track action items, communicate status to stakeholders, assist with issue resolution, identify process improvements, and support SDMs/Project Managers with metrics and KPIs.

Lead contract drafting and review for complex technology agreements (SaaS, software licensing, IT services, transportation/warehousing). Mentor and coordinate a geographically dispersed drafting team, maintain contract databases and audit files, track authorizations and deliverables, analyze and mitigate risk, and ensure timely, accurate contract processing per client policies.
