Field-based Business Development Manager selling industrial, cryogenic and specialty gases plus equipment in Leinster. Responsible for new business acquisition, territory planning, CRM pipeline management, meeting revenue/volume/profit targets, coaching retail outlets, and frequent travel to support customers and the sales team.

Manage a portfolio of 40-50 accounts to retain customers and secure new business. Conduct sales calls, build prospect pipelines, collaborate with inside sales and cross-functional teams to resolve issues, develop new applications, monitor account profitability and DSO, input CRM data, collect competitor intelligence, and report weekly to the sales manager.

Provide front-line support, administration, testing, training, troubleshooting, and documentation for Smart 3D and related SmartPlant applications; maintain environments, collaborate with engineering teams, and help deploy new tools and process improvements.

Execute tactical and strategic marketing to drive lead generation, brand awareness, and market expansion. Generate and qualify leads via Google Ads and external databases (e.g., BCI); maintain competitor databases; organize local seminars and exhibitions; engage industry associations and government agencies; conduct market research and support market entry and project evaluations. Collaborate with commercial and regional marketing teams to achieve growth and profitability targets and support customer experience initiatives.

Support US GAAP financial reporting and general ledger accounting, collaborating with operational and corporate stakeholders across the organization to ensure accurate, timely financial close and reporting.

Manage 40–50 accounts to retain customers and secure new business. Build prospect pipeline through cold calls and referrals, collaborate with inside sales and engineering to resolve technical issues, optimize account profitability, manage collections, maintain CRM data, gather competitor intelligence, mentor new hires, and report weekly metrics.

Coordinate and provide technical authority for planned and unplanned maintenance across industrial gas installations. Perform remote fault diagnosis, validate and manage work orders in SAP/ServiceMax, allocate parts and labour, prepare RAMS/P&ID updates, liaise with customers and contractors, manage inspection extensions, support spare parts selection, and mentor technical staff. Participate in on-call and out-of-hours urgent response.

Provide functional expertise for SAP SD billing, pricing, and eDocument Framework implementation and support. Analyze requirements, design solutions, manage integrations, resolve processing errors, support testing and post-release stabilization, and maintain documentation while collaborating with global stakeholders and change/release teams.

Provide process control systems engineering support for a large Texas City production facility, maintaining and improving DCS, SIS, and PLC systems, addressing instrumentation obsolescence, implementing control logic/HMI changes, supporting reliability and cybersecurity initiatives, and mentoring technicians to ensure safe, continuous plant operation.

Manage timely, accurate intercompany A/R and A/P including billing, payments, reconciliations, and withholding tax for EMEA. Lead monthly intercompany payment processes, apply correct markup and tax rates, support US GAAP reporting, audits and transfer pricing, resolve operational issues, and drive process improvements and automation.
