Leads manufacturing engineering for lunar aerospace softgoods, industrializing products and developing repeatable processes, work instructions, tooling, inspection plans, and production documentation. Supports DFM/DFA/DFT, advanced manufacturing methods, process validation, FMEAs, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality compliance. Collaborates with design, quality, supply chain, and production teams to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and accelerate production. Partners with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, finance, and suppliers to meet technical, producibility, compliance, and delivery requirements. Monitors supplier performance and ensures adherence to FAR, DFARS, and ITAR.

Leads and mentors manufacturing engineers supporting the production of Blue Origin’s Blue Moon lunar landers. Oversees manufacturing execution, work instructions, fabrication specifications, testing and maintenance plans, tooling, process development, requirements generation, design-for-manufacturability, and non-conformance resolution. Partners with integrated product teams and Operations leadership in a fast-paced aerospace production environment while driving quality, safety, continuous improvement, and effective decision-making.

Lead end-to-end design and qualification of ruggedized, space-rated avionics components for Blue Origin’s TeraWave satellite network. Responsibilities include requirements definition, circuit and PCB design, trade studies, signal and power integrity analysis, testing, verification, production support, configuration management, design reviews, and mentoring junior engineers. The role requires expertise in radiation-hardened hardware, FPGAs, CMOS sensors, DDR memory, optoelectronic integration, and high-reliability flight hardware.

Lead end-to-end RF assembly design and integration for satellite communication modules, applying DFM, DFT, DFA, DFR, and supply-chain design principles. Develop RF assembly processes, coordinate vendors and BOMs, validate performance, and drive first-article inspection, reliability analysis, manufacturing readiness, yield optimization, and production ramp for high-volume orbital hardware.

Leads end-to-end development of space-rated avionics power components, including requirements, schematic and PCB design, power integrity, controller algorithms, testing, qualification, production support, and flight integration. Provides technical leadership, design reviews, documentation approval, configuration management, and mentorship while developing reliable hardware for radiation and harsh space environments.

Leads electromagnetic design for advanced power-system hardware, including magnetic circuit sizing, material selection, electromagnetic FEA, and coupled electromagnetic-thermal analysis. Evaluates fault conditions, develops design documentation, supports procurement and manufacturing, and contributes to prototype builds, instrumentation, testing, and validation. Collaborates with mechanical, power conversion, and controls engineers while resolving design risks across the full development lifecycle.

Leads a multidisciplinary team responsible for designing, analyzing, developing, testing, and delivering spacecraft zero-gravity propellant management and propulsion components. Owns product scope, technical plans, risks, costs, schedules, requirements, verification, and customer interfaces. Manages employee hiring, development, performance, and team culture while coordinating with operations, supply chain, and vehicle teams. Requires deep aerospace propulsion expertise, project management experience, and technical leadership across the full product lifecycle.

Conduct thermal and fluids analysis for lunar lander systems across design, build, test, and integration. Develop and validate CFD thermo-fluid models for cryogenic propellants, perform system-level trade studies, assess engine interface impacts, analyze output data, and present technical findings. Document analysis results in Windchill to support engineering decisions and collaborate with subsystem, vehicle, business unit, and customer stakeholders.
