Supervises public accounting tax engagements, including tax preparation, financial reporting, client service, workpaper review, and compliance with tax regulations. Delegates assignments, reviews associate work, provides training and feedback, manages client concerns, and supports business development. The role requires strong accounting and tax knowledge, CPA certification, excellent organization, communication, judgment, and the ability to manage deadlines independently.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, with public accounting experience and strong proficiency in accounting and tax software.

Supports the tax accounting team with preparing individual, gift, fiduciary, and business property tax returns. Assists with tax research, sales tax projects, small business projects, administrative time tracking, and client billing. This seasonal, in-person role requires accounting education, foundational tax knowledge, attention to detail, organization, teamwork, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Prepares financial statements, tax returns, correspondence, workpapers, and accounting analyses. Performs audits, internal control reviews, reconciliations, tax planning, and research while identifying accounting and tax issues. Tracks billable time, follows firm policies, and manages client assignments accurately. Requires an undergraduate degree, accounting and auditing knowledge, proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting or tax software, and 0–2 years of public accounting experience. CPA certification is preferred.
