Supports domestic patent prosecution by preparing and filing USPTO documents, maintaining patent dockets and electronic files, processing official communications, opening and updating matters, conducting conflict checks, and assisting attorneys and clients. Develops training curricula, delivers onboarding, monitors legal-industry developments and emerging AI research technologies, maintains newsletters and intranet content, and recommends resource purchases. Requires expert knowledge of legal and business research platforms, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities independently and collaboratively.

Supports strategic pricing initiatives for a global law firm, including alternative fee arrangements, fixed-fee proposals, pricing models, RFPs, benchmarking, and profitability analysis. Analyzes matter, timekeeper, budget, and performance data; prepares financial reports and client narratives; develops pricing tools, playbooks, and training materials; and collaborates with attorneys, clients, Finance, Client Development, and Legal Project Management.

Leads the UK early careers recruitment and development strategy, including trainee solicitor recruitment, vacation schemes, apprenticeships, scholarships, onboarding, training, mentoring, seat rotations, and qualification processes. Manages an assistant, budgets, stakeholder relationships, university partnerships, employer branding, events, reporting, compliance, and candidate experience. Provides pastoral support to trainees and serves as a subject matter expert and ambassador for the firm’s early talent programmes.

Leads paralegal and case assistant services across staffing, workforce planning, performance management, training, recruiting, and service delivery. Partners with attorneys and business teams to improve workflows, adopt legal technology and AI, standardize processes, share knowledge, and enhance operational scalability. Uses staffing, utilization, demand, and performance data to guide decisions while coaching teams and driving continuous improvement across offices.

Provides administrative and logistical support for legal recruiting, especially lateral associate hiring. Maintains candidate records and recruiting databases, coordinates interviews, communicates with candidates and search firms, manages files and expenses, compiles evaluations, and supports conflicts, background checks, onboarding, recruiting materials, and related projects.

Process domestic and international payrolls, including biweekly, monthly, partner, and tax-related activities. Maintain payroll documentation, load changes, reconcile reports, manage taxable fringe benefits, respond to employee inquiries, and provide payroll data for audits and surveys. The role also supports process improvements, quality control, regulatory compliance, accounting inquiries, cross-training, and effective task prioritization.
