The General Accounting Manager will lead accounting practices, oversee financial reporting, manage staff, and implement process improvements.

Provide strategic employment law counseling across the organization: manage investigations and litigation, oversee outside counsel, ensure compliance, support restructurings, develop policies and training, analyze risk metrics, and partner with HR and business leaders to mitigate legal exposure.

The role also supports sales and marketing presentations, customer needs, product reviews, and engineering design activities using CAD and computer-assisted engineering tools.

Lead design, development, and testing of electrical systems for commercial HVAC products, focusing on magnetic bearing turbomachinery, motor and drive systems, power electronics, and mechatronic controls. Develop firmware with microcontrollers (C/C++), use MATLAB/Simulink for modeling, create test/qualification plans, ensure UL safety compliance, and support manufacturing and subassembly integration.

Lead branch commercial HVAC sales efforts: set business and margin targets with GM, manage sales engineers and pipeline via CRM, drive product/market strategy, coach and develop sales staff, engage consultants/architects on green/LEED solutions, and provide territory and competitor intelligence.

Support manufacturing processes and continuous improvement through work measurement, lean methods, PFMEA and NPI support, equipment specification and capital project management. Develop work instructions, training, and safety/ergonomics improvements to optimize production, cost, and quality.

Owner of month-end and quarterly close activities including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis, management reporting, audit support, ERP maintenance/upgrades, and process improvements to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Support execution of new construction data center projects by coordinating project schedules, documentation, tracking issues, forecasts, stakeholder communication, site visits, and project reporting to ensure timely completion within budget and standards.
