The Sr. Financial Analyst will be a key owner and resource for driving the monthly and quarterly close process, including journal entries, expense accruals, balance sheet account reconciliations, financial reporting, expense analysis and other special projects as assigned. They will develop, interpret, and implement complex financial and accounting concepts, or techniques for financial planning and control by performing the following duties.

Your Responsibilities:
Analyze, understand and interpret financial & transactional data supporting monthly journal entries; make recommendations when/where necessary
Month end financial close activities; including necessary accrual entries, account reconciliations, supporting analysis, etc.
Analyze variances to plan or forecast, understand drivers and trends.
Assist in development and preparation of regular management reporting
Closely work with the Sr Controller and other finance team members to ensure the data entering the ERP is accurate and secure.
Responsible for assisting in internal and external audit requests and compliance with internal controls.
Support the annual planning process
Actively supports the ERP and other financial systems maintenance, upgrades, integrations etc. Assures software modifications and upgrades are successfully tested before implementation to the live environment.
Develops and documents workflow processes to create efficiency in the operation of financial systems.
Assists in maintaining the chart of accounts for USGAAP and Japanese GAAP in Oracle.
Assessing current account operations, offering solutions for improvements, and implementing new process improvements
Maintains financial policies and procedures.
Your Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
3-5 years experience in accounting/finance or a related field
Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems
Actively supports the ERP and other financial systeof ms maintenance, upgrades, integrations etc. Assures software modifications and upgrades are successfully tested before implementation to the live environment.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $80,400 - $136,800 in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
