Coordinates telecommunications and infrastructure projects from planning and field readiness through completion and financial handoff. Responsibilities include maintaining project records, schedules, vendors, quotations, permits, materials, safety prerequisites, scope changes, completion documentation, and project-management-system updates. The role serves as a liaison among clients, vendors, contractors, field teams, engineering, finance, and project management; tracks risks and dependencies; resolves routine issues; escalates matters requiring authority; and supports operational process improvement.

Supports project and financial administration throughout the project lifecycle, including project setup, purchasing, invoicing, budget updates, reconciliations, project reviews, document control, and close-out. Maintains accurate records, tracks outstanding items, prepares reports and invoice packages, verifies approvals and documentation, and escalates exceptions or financial risks. Collaborates with Finance, Accounting, Purchasing, Operations, and project delivery teams while supporting month-end activities and workflow improvements.

Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for critical data center infrastructure categories. Lead global supplier relationships, negotiations, capacity planning, risk mitigation, supplier performance reviews, and cost optimization. Partner cross-functionally with engineering, logistics, manufacturing, finance, quality, and program teams to support hyperscale data center growth, new product introductions, supply continuity, and supplier innovation.

Leads AFL’s enterprise strategy for AI infrastructure, translating technology, market, competitive, economic, and regulatory trends into growth strategies, investments, partnerships, and long-range plans. Advises executives and boards, leads scenario planning, aligns divisional strategies, evaluates emerging opportunities, and communicates strategic recommendations across the AI infrastructure ecosystem. Serves as a strategic partner to the VP of Corporate Strategy and develops enterprise planning capabilities.

Leads technology scouting, market intelligence, innovation roadmapping, and adjacent-market assessments across fiber optics, photonics, and data center infrastructure. Translates technical research into strategic recommendations, portfolio priorities, investment opportunities, and executive insights. Builds technical partnerships, authors thought leadership, manages innovation pipelines, and tracks funnel metrics while representing AFL at industry events and standards forums.

Designs and updates engineering documentation for released parts, including bills of materials, drawings, 3D models, and assemblies. Supports prototype and pre-production samples in collaboration with product, development, and NPI teams. Requires engineering education, manufacturing experience, SolidWorks or equivalent modeling skills, ERP experience, and GD&T knowledge.

Supports and modernizes automated cable manufacturing equipment through PLC/HMI programming, controls upgrades, machine integration, commissioning, advanced troubleshooting, and equipment relocation support. Designs electromechanical and automation solutions, upgrades legacy controls, resolves equipment failures, documents technical changes, and collaborates with Maintenance, Operations, Process Engineering, OEMs, and integrators to improve reliability, safety, throughput, quality, and maintainability.

The Supply Chain Analyst collaborates with various departments to enhance supply chain operations through data analysis, reporting, and identifying improvement opportunities.
