Performs high-quality digital compositing for visual effects productions using Nuke. Integrates 2D and 3D elements, creates masks, tracks and keys footage, manages grain and color, removes rigging, resolves technical issues, and ensures photorealistic, technically sound final shots. Collaborates with supervisors, production teams, and artists across studios, responds to feedback, meets deadlines, participates in reviews, and shares compositing knowledge.

Creates complex visual effects simulations including fire, smoke, fluids, destruction, and abstract effects using Houdini. Delivers optimized, photorealistic shots while collaborating with FX, CG, pipeline, production, and other departments. Responsibilities include managing simulations from setup through rendering, optimizing caches, troubleshooting technical issues, integrating feedback, communicating progress and risks, and contributing to tools, documentation, and department workflows.

Leads the creative and technical quality of compositing work for feature film and episodic VFX productions. Supervises compositing artists, reviews shots, provides artistic and technical direction, resolves complex 2D/3D integration challenges, manages workflows and delivery planning, mentors team members, and collaborates with VFX, CG, Production, and Art Direction teams to maintain quality and schedule adherence.

Creates high-end, realistic or stylized animation for creatures, characters, and objects in VFX and animated productions. Delivers polished, technically clean shots while applying strong principles of timing, weight, posing, body mechanics, facial animation, and performance. Collaborates with leads, supervisors, production, and technical teams; troubleshoots rig and scene issues; communicates estimates and roadblocks; participates in reviews; and shares knowledge with peers. The role is fully on-site in Bengaluru.

Leads the artistic and technical direction of the FX department on high-end film and episodic projects. Supervises FX artists, validates simulations, defines technical standards, manages workloads and schedules, and collaborates with VFX, CG, lighting, compositing, production, and pipeline teams. Develops efficient workflows, supports complex shots, contributes to pipeline and tool improvements, and promotes knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Leads the creative and technical direction of animation for VFX productions. Supervises artists, guides performances, reviews work, manages shot assignments and schedules, resolves pipeline challenges, collaborates with Rigging, CFX and Layout, and contributes to complex shots. Supports hiring, mentoring, workflow optimization, pipeline R&D, documentation, and training while ensuring high-quality, client-aligned delivery.

Designs, maintains, and optimizes advanced character, creature, vehicle, and object rigs for VFX production. Leads and supports rigging artists, ensures technical and artistic quality, troubleshoots deformation issues, documents workflows, trains team members, and collaborates with supervision, production, animation, and partner departments. Develops Python and PySide tools to automate workflows and improve rig performance while remaining hands-on in production.

Designs, maintains, and optimizes advanced rigs for characters, creatures, vehicles, and objects in VFX production. Leads rigging artists, provides technical and artistic guidance, troubleshoots deformation issues, supports pipeline integration, documents workflows, and develops Python/PySide tools. Collaborates with CG supervision, animation, production, and partner departments while mentoring team members and improving rigging standards and efficiency.
