In 2026, Rodeo FX opened its newest studio in Bengaluru, expanding our global network across Canada, the United States, Europe and India. Located in International Tech Park Bengaluru, the new 40,000-square-foot studio is designed to accommodate up to 400 artists and supports both Rodeo FX and Mikros Animation.
Our Bengaluru team is fully integrated into Rodeo FX's global pipeline, collaborating with artists, supervisors and production teams across our international studios on incredible projects.

Job DescriptionThe Digital Compositor is responsible for assembling the visual elements of a visual effects plan to ensure artistic and technical consistency. They work at various stages of the 2D pipeline to deliver believable, polished, and photorealistic images. This role demands precision, creativity, and a strong command of Nuke. The artist works closely with the supervision, production, and other departments, actively contributing to the final quality of the projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Master your craft
- Perform assigned digital compositing tasks accurately and efficiently, according to Rodeo FX standards.
- Create masks (rotoscopy) and apply clean background techniques, retouching and removal of technical rigging.
- Manage the entire 2D pipeline: pre-compositions, element synchronization, grain removal / grain addition, 2D tracking, keying, color correction, integration.
- Apply the right methods and tools according to the nature of the plan.
- Respect priorities, deliverables and production deadlines.
Creative quality
- Integrate 2D and 3D elements in a fluid and realistic way.
- Maintain visual consistency of the plans according to the artistic intentions of the project.
- Collaborating with the supervisor and the lead to refine the visual aspect of the plans.
- To offer simple and elegant solutions to the creative challenges encountered.
- Adjust the compositions to maximize their visual impact.
Technical quality
- Deliver clean, optimized and technically sound plans.
- Detect technical problems and resolve them independently.
- Alert the appropriate departments in case of an upstream problem.
- Quickly implement the comments or feedback received.
- Perform rigorous quality control before any submission.
Communication
- Communicate clearly and regularly with the production and supervisory team.
- To circulate useful information to ensure the smooth running of the project.
- Actively participate in daily reviews and follow-up meetings.
- Adopt a constructive and calm attitude, even under pressure.
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues and other departments.
Learn, share and evolve
- Stay abreast of new tools, techniques and practices in the profession.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital compositing within the visual effects industry, preferably on high-end feature film and/or episodic productions.
- Excellent proficiency in Nuke.
- Strong portfolio or demo reel demonstrating high-quality photoreal compositing and seamless integration of 2D and 3D elements.
- Good understanding of photographic principles, including light, color, perspective, reflections, and lens characteristics.
- Strong understanding of keying, tracking, color correction, grain management, and CG integration.
- Knowledge of Mocha or 3D tracking is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Positive attitude, rigor, autonomy, and attention to detail.
- Strong professional English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams across multiple studios and time zones.
- Team spirit and a willingness to contribute to the development of the department.
- Knowledge of Flow Production Tracking (ShotGrid) or other production tracking tools is an asset.
