This is a summer internship requiring full-time availability during the summer.

Supports transportation brokerage operations under close supervision by verifying carriers, maintaining shipment records, monitoring freight movement, learning market trends and pricing strategies, assisting with carrier negotiations, communicating service issues, and using transportation technology tools to improve workflow efficiency and service execution.

Executes customer freight orders, monitors delivery and billing accuracy, schedules pickup and delivery appointments, enters orders into the management system, resolves service issues, documents accessorial approvals and spot rates, and communicates load status and capacity availability to customers and operations teams.

Leads enterprise tax strategy, planning, compliance, reporting, risk management, and tax technology modernization. Oversees federal, state, and local filings; ASC 740 tax provisions; SOX controls; SEC disclosures; tax implications of strategic transactions; and external advisors.
