Support machining center installations and production operations through configuration management, documentation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and system improvement. Resolve technical issues involving mechanical and electrical systems while coordinating with engineering, production, maintenance, management, and clients. Develops communication plans, campaigns, messaging, executive materials, newsletters, and multimedia content across multiple workstreams. Advises project leadership, coordinates internal and external stakeholders, supports organizational change management, and helps employees prepare for adoption of the new enterprise platform.

Supports construction projects by developing Primavera schedules, resource-loaded financial plans, budgets, forecasts, risk analyses, performance metrics, change controls, and management reports. Coordinates with project managers, engineering, construction, and stakeholders to resolve scheduling and resource issues. Prepares project documentation, meetings, updates, and closeout reports while tracking cost, schedule, workforce, and overall project performance.

Manages technical construction projects at a nuclear laboratory, including requirements, deliverables, budgets, schedules, risks, controlled accounts, work packages, and project execution through turnover. Coordinates construction, operations, safety, radiological control, and support organizations while complying with DOE, NNSA, contract, nuclear security, classification, and NQA-1 requirements. Provides technical guidance, monitors program budgets, and supports project planning and administrative management.

Develops, reviews, and updates electrical schematics, engineering drawings, technical documentation, component and assembly drawings, and bills of materials using 2D and 3D CAD software. Translates engineering requirements into accurate technical drawings, incorporates design changes, researches technical questions, and collaborates with engineers and technical teams. Supports the design, production, testing, and delivery of naval nuclear propulsion training simulators.

Provides hands-on engineering support for machining centers and production equipment at the Y-12 National Security Complex. Responsibilities include installation, startup, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, configuration management, technical documentation, equipment evaluations, reliability improvements, and coordination with engineering, production, maintenance, and operations teams. The role requires compliance with nuclear facility procedures, safety standards, configuration controls, and conduct-of-engineering requirements in an active industrial environment.

Supports DOE Y-12 plant systems by coordinating configuration management, assessing system health and performance, preparing design change packages, evaluating safety authorization impacts, troubleshooting technical issues, conducting system walkdowns, and reviewing calibration, testing, spare parts, maintenance, and system turnover activities.

Provides electrical design engineering support for DOE Y-12 facility and production-area activities. Reviews overdue Change Requests, identifies affected configuration-managed documents, performs facility walkdowns, compares field conditions with engineering requirements, prepares redline markups, coordinates document updates with drafting personnel, and verifies revised drawings and documents. The role requires extensive electrical engineering experience in industrial or nuclear facilities, knowledge of NFPA 70 and controlled-document processes, and the ability to obtain a government clearance.
