Own and evolve a multi-region AWS WorkSpaces serverless VDI platform: design, build, automate, and troubleshoot production systems (Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, SNS). Lead DR, Terraform IaC, Datadog observability, WorkSpaces lifecycle operations, mentor engineers, and ensure security and compliance for a regulated fintech environment.

The Desktop Engineer will manage the VDI environment, ensuring access to crucial applications and optimizing performance for financial services, with a focus on AWS solutions.

Lead administration, optimization, and support of high-volume PostgreSQL and MongoDB systems in GCP. Design Terraform modules for managed databases, implement IaC and CI/CD for DB changes, manage replication and BigQuery targets, ensure HA/DR and backup strategies, perform performance tuning and security/audit tasks, and participate in on-call rotations and incident response.

Support daily trade processing and client service for purchase & sale transactions across equities, fixed income, and derivatives. Handle customer inquiries per SLAs, reconcile and correct postings, resolve trade discrepancies and expirations escalations, perform supervisory oversight and maintain FINRA compliance, coordinate settlements with counterparties, and drive process improvements with cross-functional teams.

Serve as the Operational Organization's primary liaison to Incident Management: triage and prioritize incidents, communicate real-time impact to stakeholders, contribute clearing and custody domain expertise to postmortems, drive corrective actions, document SOPs and workarounds, build knowledge-base articles, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure operational remediation and process improvements.

Design, deploy, and maintain automation and tooling for Kubernetes clusters. Manage cluster lifecycle, monitoring (Datadog), security and compliance, documentation, CI/CD and GitOps practices, collaborate with app teams, and participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot production incidents.

Design and articulate technical solutions using Apex APIs, engage with clients post-sale to implement integrations, lead architecture discussions, document customer requirements for product teams, and influence product roadmap. Build expertise in cloud, microservices, real-time processing, and present technical concepts to stakeholders.

Serve as primary client contact to manage escalations, oversee service operations and staff, enforce compliance and security controls, analyze performance metrics, resolve customer issues, collaborate cross-functionally, and lead process improvement initiatives.

Design and implement API-based solutions for banking, brokerage, and advisory clients; lead architecture discussions, support implementations, advocate customer needs to product and engineering, and influence product roadmaps.
