Provide end-to-end HR support for the Department of Safety and Security: hiring, onboarding, payroll and compliance reviews, employee relations, benefits guidance, data management, policy implementation, and coordination with central HR and UCPD recruitment processes.

Lead communications strategy and team for the Data Science Institute, managing brand, website, media relations, content, and campaigns. Lead development, training, evaluation, and deployment of AI-based weather and climate models. Create and analyze datasets, run model inference on HPC/cloud, assess physical consistency with process-level diagnostics, document results, contribute to publications, and manage research project tasks and lab duties with moderate supervision.

Provide administrative and programmatic support for first-year, masters, and employer relations programs. Track and report student placements and system usage, manage event logistics and Zoom/webinar setups, create communications and promotional materials, review resumes, run Handshake audits, prepare presentations and reports, and coordinate two Job Shadowing program cycles from outreach through assessment.
