Summer supply chain engineering intern supporting Military Aircraft Group: collaborate with sourcing, procurement, operations, and supplier development; provide operational and technical support; contribute to project processes, strategies, and execution; work as a multidisciplinary team member representing Moog professionally.

Design and develop analog, digital and power electronics for servo-drive/motor controller products in an EN9100 environment. Participate across hardware lifecycle: requirements, architecture, implementation, integration, testing, reviews, and meet project milestones. Provide occasional on-site customer support and ensure designs meet performance, cost, reliability, regulatory and DFM/DFT targets.

Serve as onsite HR Business Partner supporting Space & Defense business units in Blacksburg, VA. Partner with Strategic HRBP and leaders to develop HR strategy, drive talent management, change management, organizational design, performance and retention initiatives, HR analytics, and lead global or group-wide HR projects.

Design and develop hydraulic, electro-mechanical, and servo test equipment for space and defense products. Create system-level requirements, model systems with MATLAB/Simulink, perform hardware correlation, integration and verification testing, and lead/mentor engineering efforts to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.

Design and develop high-speed digital circuits and FPGA firmware for flight control and weapons-bay actuators. Perform trade studies, schematic capture, PCB requirements, testbench and simulation-based verification, prototype and integration testing, signal integrity and power/timing analysis, and produce technical documentation and presentations for aerospace programs.

Develop and program CNC operations for high-precision machined parts, define manufacturing sequences, tooling and gauging, support program prove-outs and troubleshooting, collaborate with engineering, quality, production and vendors, and drive process and tooling improvements to enhance manufacturability and estimate costs/timelines.

Lead mechanical design efforts for electromechanical/electrohydraulic systems (missile steering actuation, vehicle motion control). Apply DFM, produce and verify GD&T-compliant drawings, perform CAD layouts and basic dynamic/structural/thermal analyses, size brushless motors, use Teamcenter/NX, present to customers, and mentor junior engineers. Must be able to obtain U.S. DoD security clearance.

Lead technical project engineer for custom spaceflight electronics, coordinating cross-functional teams through architecture, design, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and verification. Manage budget, schedule, risk, requirements, test procedures, failure investigations, and serve as customer technical point of contact.
