The Business Development Executive will drive growth by selling professional services, building relationships, and managing leads in the Salt Lake City market.

Lead and oversee multiple audit engagements from planning through reporting. Supervise and mentor staff, develop audit strategies and budgets, maintain client relationships, research complex accounting and auditing issues, draft financial statements and deliverables, and assist in proposal development to win engagements.

Lead NetSuite integration projects, oversee design and implementation, mentor team members, and ensure compliance with integration best practices.

Lead execution and delivery of audit and advisory engagements for blockchain and digital asset clients. Supervise and mentor associates, resolve audit issues, draft financials and report findings, develop client relationships, and research and apply complex accounting and auditing standards related to crypto activities.

The role involves leading the architecture and solution ownership for NSAW implementations, data engineering, SQL transformations, and analytics delivery, ensuring data integrity and executive-level reporting.

Manage tax compliance and consulting for corporate clients, minimizing tax liabilities, and developing financial planning ideas while overseeing tax research and mentoring team members.

Provide tax compliance and consulting for flow-through clients in real estate, cryptocurrency, venture capital, and private equity. Minimize federal, state, and local tax liabilities, research complex tax issues, supervise associate assignments, manage client service delivery, and mentor tax associates through counseling, leadership, and career guidance.

Prepare individual, trust, partnership, and corporate U.S. tax returns, including complex high-net-worth filings and international tax forms. Conduct tax research, write research memoranda, oversee complex projects, and deliver services to domestic U.S. engagement teams. Serve as a subject-matter resource for 1040 compliance, prioritize client information, make recommendations, and coordinate with multiple managers and India-based and U.S. teams.

Provide transactional accounting support including accounts payable, customer invoicing, and bank reconciliations; prepare compliance filings (1099s, payroll, sales tax); document work papers; meet deadlines; communicate status clearly; learn and apply QuickBooks Online and standard accounting practices while building effective team relationships.
