The Senior Economist will lead economic modeling for the Department of State, conducting impact analysis, developing assessments using IMPLAN, and providing actionable recommendations based on findings.

Provides strategic and technical federal acquisition support for complex defined contribution retirement plan recordkeeping services. Responsibilities include requirements development, acquisition planning, procurement documentation, market research, sourcing strategy evaluation, stakeholder facilitation, contract development, and transition planning. The role translates technical and operational concepts into clear acquisition materials, manages procurement lifecycle activities, and recommends approaches balancing cost, performance, risk, schedule, and technical requirements.

Supports defined contribution retirement plan consulting through industry research, benchmarking, data analysis, process reviews, project planning, stakeholder interviews, and client deliverables. The role develops analytical models, reports, presentations, process documentation, and future-state recommendations while supporting recordkeeper acquisition, transition, and strategic planning activities.

Support CDC acquisition lifecycle: develop SOWs/PWSs, IGCEs, market research, RFPs, and acquisition plans; advise executives and CORs; manage solicitation, evaluation, and post-award activities; ensure FAR compliance and process improvements; serve as liaison between program and acquisition offices.
