Serve as senior technical authority and chief project engineer for large defense/aerospace programs. Define system architecture, integration, verification, and configuration management. Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex embedded-systems programs for defense and space customers. Own cost, schedule, scope, risk, quality, and contractual deliverables; drive cross-functional execution, risk mitigation, recovery efforts, and customer communications. Support contracts, compliance (DFARS/ITAR), proposals, and executive reporting while operating in ambiguous, resource-constrained environments and ensuring program performance and stakeholder alignment.

Process vendor invoices, support weekly payment runs (ACH, wire, checks), maintain vendor records, assist reconciliations and month-end close, support internal controls, audits, and integration of acquired entities to ensure accurate U.S. GAAP-compliant accounting.

Design, validate, and troubleshoot RF subsystems and PCBs from UHF to Ka-band. Produce schematics, guide PCB layout, develop/test RF procedures, support manufacturing, system integration, customer meetings, and proposals while meeting aggressive schedules.

Provide on-site Tier 1-3 IT support at the Folsom site including hardware, Windows/macOS, Microsoft 365, endpoint and identity management, VPN, printers, AV, and meeting-room technology; manage device lifecycle, onboarding/offboarding, inventory, secure-site procedures, documentation, and ticket resolution while adhering to change-control and government security requirements (Top Secret clearance).

Design, develop, and maintain embedded software and board-support packages for space and defense products. Create requirements, design specs, and test plans; implement device drivers and hardware-software interfaces; participate in testing, troubleshooting, and board bring-up. Collaborate with hardware engineers and follow software lifecycle processes.
