Lead engineering tasks to modify, install, test, evaluate, repair, and document airborne test instrumentation and ground support equipment. Collect and analyze sensor data, author technical documentation and proposals, coordinate across disciplines, conduct site visits and investigations, and support test activities for military test ranges.

Roles span entry to senior levels and may include software development, instrumentation support, and mission control duties.

Provide flight-controls, aerodynamics, stability and handling-qualities engineering for multiple airborne platforms. Perform technical review, integration support, airworthiness risk assessments, aerodynamic/load modeling, control-law evaluation, simulation and flight-test validation, and prepare technical memos and flight-envelope recommendations while coordinating across multidisciplinary teams and supporting test and flight release activities.

Lead design, development, testing, installation, integration, sustainment, and maintenance of mechanical/electronic instrumentation. Produce design specifications, perform analyses, troubleshoot hardware/software, conduct research and presentations, and coordinate engineering technicians to meet program requirements and deadlines.
