Defines system decomposition, interfaces, requirements, data flows, resource allocation, and technical tradeoffs. Identifies cross-domain risks, evaluates architectures through modeling and prototyping, develops reusable platforms and reference designs, and provides principal-level technical leadership across engineering teams, suppliers, and partners.

Handles US sales and use tax and Canadian GST/HST, PST, and QST compliance across company entities. Responsibilities include preparing filings, reconciling tax accounts, reviewing transaction tax data, resolving tax notices, maintaining exemption certificates and compliance records, supporting audits, tracking licenses, researching tax implications, and improving tax procedures. The role also provides administrative and ad hoc tax project support.
