The GNC Engineer III will design and implement control systems for launch vehicles, develop flight software, perform testing, and mentor junior engineers.

Develop and execute spacecraft functional and system-level test procedures, build and maintain automated test scripts and HWIL testbeds, troubleshoot telemetry and test data, support cleanroom/environmental/launch site operations, and contribute to test automation, dashboards, and continuous improvement to verify flight readiness.

As a Spacecraft Systems Engineer, you will oversee the development of spacecraft, manage requirements and interfaces, and ensure successful mission execution through design reviews and test planning.

Develop and deliver composite pressurized primary structures for launch vehicles across the product lifecycle: conceptual design, structural layout, sizing, CAD and manufacturing drawings, FEA analysis, mass optimization, prototype/qualification testing, and cross-discipline integration and configuration control.

Design, analyze, develop, and qualify flight-critical moving mechanical assemblies (separation, deployment, release systems). Own CAD and drawings, perform FEA and hand calculations, define and execute qualification/acceptance tests, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional teams to deliver producible, flight-ready hardware. Mentor junior engineers and document designs to industry standards.

Support design, manufacturing, testing and R&D for carbon-fiber composites and nonmetallics. Evaluate materials, execute characterization campaigns, lead failure analysis and RCCA, develop technical specifications, drive process improvements, provide manufacturing/design support, mentor staff, and partner with external SMEs to advance materials development and qualification.

Support design, manufacturing, testing and R&D for nonmetallic materials (carbon fiber composites, adhesives). Evaluate materials, perform characterization and failure analysis, develop technical specs, support manufacturing/design teams, lead testing/allowable campaigns, implement process controls, mentor junior staff, and represent the company on industry standards/task groups.
