Develops and improves robust solar module manufacturing processes across multiple sites. Provides technical leadership, designs and analyzes process experiments, qualifies equipment, troubleshoots production issues, and implements continuous improvements using statistical and Six Sigma methods. The role develops control plans, FMEAs, work instructions, and training; collaborates with development teams, manufacturing personnel, suppliers, and equipment vendors; and serves as a subject matter expert for deposition, thermal, wet-film, laser, chemical, and metrology processes.

Work with manufacturing experts to gather process information and develop PowerPoint- and video-based training materials. Support training plan data entry, workstation materials, associate onboarding, plant tours, and employee training. This in-person internship requires communication skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, basic picture and video editing, and travel between Perrysburg plants.

Lead scaling and qualification of photovoltaic manufacturing processes and equipment. Define requirements, troubleshoot, run DOE/SPC-based experiments, engage vendors, document control plans/FMEAs, mentor staff, and drive Six Sigma continuous improvements to achieve robust 24x7 production.

Lead drafting, negotiation, execution, and management of customer-facing commercial contracts and post-contract documents for large-value solar transactions. Coordinate cross-functionally with origination, legal, finance, fulfillment, and executive leadership to manage risk, ensure compliance with Scope of Authority, and support deal closing and handover. Travel to customers as needed.

Support, sustain, and troubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment; run process experiments, collect and analyze data, and report results. Apply SPC and structured problem solving (e.g., DMAIC) to resolve production and yield issues. Maintain and improve equipment (vacuum deposition, coatings, laser scribing, module assembly, automation), draft work instructions, coordinate with production/maintenance/suppliers, and adhere to safety and housekeeping standards.

Develop and execute state government relations strategies across multiple jurisdictions. Monitor and analyze state legislative and regulatory developments, represent the company before state bodies, build relationships with elected officials and agencies, draft policy materials, support coalition-building and internal stakeholder briefings, host plant tours, and coordinate advocacy with internal teams to advance renewable energy policy priorities.

Lead statistical scientist for R&D experiment design, meta-analysis, and predictive modeling in thin‑film solar fabrication. Integrate diverse data sources, design experiments, perform advanced statistical analyses (GLMs, PCA, regression, decision trees), conduct data forensics, and communicate results to program teams while training and mentoring staff.

Lead global implementation, design, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting of manufacturing electrical control systems (PLCs, HMIs, networks, robotics, vision). Support equipment installs, maintain electrical drawings, integrate equipment with SQL/MES, and enforce corporate controls and safety standards across facilities.

Provide administrative support to CFO and General Counsel including scheduling, travel coordination, document control, invoice and expense processing, PCard reconciliation, SharePoint maintenance, presentation preparation, meeting/event logistics and note-taking, liaison with cross-functional teams, and support for ad hoc finance and office tasks.

Design, implement, and validate electrical control systems and PLC/HMI programs; commission and troubleshoot equipment; integrate equipment with MES and SQL databases; develop software tools and data pipelines for visualization and ML adoption; maintain electrical schematics and coordinate vendors; support cross-functional projects and ensure safety compliance.
