Leads spacecraft systems engineering across requirements management, system architecture, concept of operations, integration, verification, and validation. Oversees technical milestone reviews, requirements traceability, risk mitigation, performance tracking, and configuration management while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams. The role also mentors engineers and ensures compliant, cohesive system solutions throughout the development lifecycle.

Leads enterprise and program-level contamination control for aerospace systems, including satellites, optics, solar arrays, propulsion, fluid systems, mechanisms, and payloads. Develops contamination control plans, requirements, analyses, processes, technical documentation, and innovative solutions. Provides technical leadership, mentors engineers, leads reviews and strategic initiatives, collaborates cross-functionally, and represents the organization with customers, suppliers, partners, and industry bodies.

Supports spacecraft guidance, navigation, and control development through algorithm design, control analysis, orbital mechanics, Kalman filtering, simulations, and performance evaluation. Develops MATLAB models and integrates SIMULINK and STK tools, analyzes IMU and GPS data, supports flight software integration and hardware-in-the-loop testing, and documents technical findings. Works under senior engineers while estimating workloads and prioritizing tasks.

Supports cost and schedule control for government contracts by analyzing financial data, preparing budgets, schedules, reports, funding profiles, sales outlooks, and variance analyses. Maintains expenditure records, confirms funding availability, updates contractual changes in control systems, and helps maintain realistic cost and schedule baselines. The role also supports compliance with negotiated contract parameters and government cost-control guidelines.

Leads programs valued under $25 million, managing cost, schedule, budget, technical performance, contractual compliance, risks, and execution. Develops program plans, schedules, and budgets; monitors performance and implements corrective actions. Coordinates engineering, finance, operations, and other cross-functional teams while communicating status to internal and external stakeholders. Maintains customer relationships, prepares reports and presentations, and leads smaller programs, integrated product teams, or portions of larger programs.

Supports senior engineers in analyzing, designing, and evaluating mechanical systems, propulsion, structures, and environmental systems. Collects and analyzes data, resolves routine technical problems, prepares technical documentation and reports, and collaborates with cross-functional teams. Requires clear communication, teamwork, and the ability to follow engineering guidance. Preferred experience includes CAD tools, drawing standards, GD&T, manufacturing processes, materials science, and mechanical system testing.
