Represent Liberty Mutual and its policyholders in moderately complex civil litigation and workers’ compensation matters. Manage cases from inception through resolution, including discovery, hearings, trials, mediations, pleadings, and motions. Advise claims representatives and insured clients, evaluate risks, facilitate settlements, maintain accurate documentation, use e-discovery and case management tools, and collaborate with senior counsel and remote teams while ensuring ethical and regulatory compliance.

Develops AI and machine learning prototypes for insurance applications using Python, large language models, NLP, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic AI, information retrieval, and computer vision. Collaborates with data scientists and engineers on ideation, product design, algorithm development, data analysis, and experimentation in an R&D environment.

Evaluates coverage, liability, compensability, damages, and reserve requirements; develops action plans; conducts investigations; coordinates with claimants, policyholders, attorneys, appraisers, and other parties; and negotiates settlements within authority limits. May refer claims to subrogation or special investigations teams and must comply with applicable regulatory requirements.
