The Associate will work closely with external wholesalers to drive adoption of private markets solutions among financial advisors, maintain CRM updates, and deliver portfolio construction support.

Provide high-level administrative support to the CHRO and the HR team, managing calendars, travel, communications, onboarding/offboarding, HR Service Desk activities, HR calendar and events, recruiting support, and confidential record maintenance. Lead day-to-day fund accounting and valuation operations for 70+ private equity funds, oversee audits, financial statement approval, controls, fee and expense calculations, vendor relationships, tax filings, valuations, budgeting, and team development for an 8-person department plus outsourced partners.

Serve as a primary operational contact for fund accounting: review quarterly financial statements, assist audits, value investments, maintain cash and journal entries, resolve client requests, oversee administrators, and manage core department functions and projects.

Perform operational due diligence on private markets managers by evaluating infrastructure, governance, controls, compliance, and personnel; prepare reports, coordinate meetings, monitor filings, review background checks, and support ongoing monitoring and special projects.

Lead operational management of evergreen fund structures, oversee subscription/redemption cycles and transfer agency relationships, support investor onboarding and distributor integrations, partner cross-functionally on product launches and governance events, improve processes and controls, and lead a U.S. operations team to scale evergreen products.

Lead Hamilton Lane's SEC reporting function, managing preparation, review, and filing of Forms 10-K/10-Q/8-K, consolidated financial statements, disclosures, and SOX controls. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and external auditors, drive process improvements and reporting tool adoption, evaluate new accounting requirements, mentor staff, and support strategic finance initiatives.

Support end-to-end portfolio implementation and governance across private markets: coordinate investment execution, monitor mandates and restrictions, prepare audit/regulatory materials, maintain SOPs and controls, manage PMG technology requests and data quality, build reporting and analytics (Excel, Power BI), and contribute to continuous process improvements.
