Define clinically meaningful validation methods, collaborate with surgeons and engineering teams, mentor colleagues, and contribute to patents and regulated medical-device development.

Designs, implements, verifies, and supports motion-control algorithms, robotic manipulation behaviors, and safety-monitoring systems for surgical robots and instruments. The role applies control theory to mechatronic and tele-robotic systems, analyzes clinical and dynamic safety risks, integrates hardware, firmware, software, and mechanisms, supports products through manufacturing, and communicates system performance across the organization.

Develop and commercialize complex FPGA solutions for robotic-assisted surgical systems, including video processing, DMA, high-speed communications, sensor integration, motor control, and embedded computing. Responsibilities include SystemVerilog RTL development, verification, architecture, debugging, design documentation, design controls, cross-functional collaboration, and post-launch product support.

Sustains and enhances the opto-mechanical performance, reliability, and capacity of a 3D surgical viewer in a robotic surgery platform. Responsibilities include design changes, CAD modeling, tolerance analysis, verification testing, failure analysis, materials and manufacturing optimization, supplier collaboration, cost reduction, and compliance with medical-device design controls. The role also supports new product development and cross-functional troubleshooting.

Supports finance teams through financial and operational analysis, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, dashboard creation, ROI and cost-benefit analysis, and process improvement.
