Designs, implements, and monitors SOX business process controls and internal controls over financial reporting. Responsibilities include financial risk assessments, materiality calculations, SOX scoping, control walkthroughs, documentation reviews, emerging risk management, executive reporting, and coordination with external auditors. Develop and operate distributed systems, deployment tooling, and shared infrastructure for Stripe’s data center networks and cardholder data environment. Responsibilities include compliance audit preparation and remediation, project management, technical interviewing, mentoring junior engineers, on-call support, and maintaining reliable, scalable, secure infrastructure.

Analyze payment accounts and transactions to identify fraud and credit risk, develop scalable risk strategies, and design solutions including ML features and manual review workflows. Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Operations to mitigate fraud across geographies, payment methods, and products. Educate Stripe users about business risks and prevention strategies.

Leads large-scale commercial and launch-readiness programs that drive revenue and improve Stripe’s go-to-market operations. Owns program strategy, development, launch, post-launch support, custom pricing and deal approaches, enablement, communications, and change management. Partners with Sales, Deal Strategy, Finance, Legal, Accounting, Product, and senior leadership to resolve blockers, build scalable mechanisms, and drive cross-functional alignment.

Advise AI companies on payments, billing, metering, and monetization strategies. Architect custom Stripe solutions, support implementations, influence product roadmaps, engage technical founders and executives, and partner with sales, engineering, product, marketing, and professional services. Provide thought leadership through demonstrations and events, monitor competitors, and help position Stripe as a strategic AI monetization partner. Travel may reach 50% of the time.

Own new-business sales for Stripe’s Open Issuance and OUSD offerings. Responsibilities include prospecting, pipeline generation, consultative selling, complex negotiations, closing, customer launches, expansion, and developing repeatable go-to-market processes. The role requires engaging founders, executives, fintechs, technical teams, and partners while translating stablecoin, payments, treasury, and financial infrastructure solutions into compelling business cases.

Generate qualified sales pipeline through cold calls, email, social outreach, and marketing-generated inquiries. Research prospects, pitch Stripe products, book meetings, qualify business needs, maintain warm opportunities, update Salesforce records, meet outreach SLAs, and collaborate with Marketing and Account Executives. The role includes structured training through Stripe’s Sales Development Associate program and requires fluent English and Spanish communication in a primarily in-office Chicago environment.

Own social and content marketing for Privy, Bridge, and Stripe Crypto across X and LinkedIn. Develop social posts, threads, blog posts, explainers, customer stories, and event coverage; translate technical concepts into accessible narratives; shape launch campaigns; monitor crypto and fintech communities; experiment with multimedia formats; and use performance insights to improve editorial strategy and publishing systems.
