Design, implement, and verify cybersecurity and survivability for space, ground, and communications segments. Lead early-phase systems engineering for C2BMC missile defense: translate stakeholder needs into concepts, perform requirements elicitation and decomposition, create MBSE physical and logical models (Cameo), develop interfaces/ICDs/IDDs, run technical reviews, support Agile Scrum teams, and coordinate with customers and stakeholders to ensure system verification and integration.

Lead software configuration management: administer change boards, review and authorize software documentation releases, maintain Jira projects, build/manage an Artifactory for software licenses, and act as library custodian. Role requires DoD Secret and Special Access Program clearance and involves ~10% travel.

Lead reliability engineering for avionics and complete airframes: provide SME advice, review CAD/NX/SolidWorks technical data, develop Reliability Centered Maintenance assessments, model MTTR and mission timelines, perform reliability analyses (FRACAS, FMEA/FMECA, FTA), create BOEs, support capture efforts, and coordinate cross-functional sustainment and logistics activities.

Lead systems engineering for a multi‑variant product line: define and document functional/non‑functional requirements, maintain requirement traceability, create ICDs and UML diagrams, collaborate with Agile teams, support integration/verification across variants, and continuously improve engineering processes, tooling, and documentation.

Design, integrate, configure, and test real-time hardware-in-the-loop data acquisition systems for flight test. Respond to production technical issues, develop test procedures and ConOps, coordinate integrated testing, draft and track prep items, and support process improvements and change implementation. Work onsite with shift schedules and frequent travel.

Integrate and enforce mission assurance and quality requirements across program plans, designs, and suppliers. Participate in review boards, perform RCA/RCCA, support QMS and audits, drive FMEA/Cost of Quality, collect metrics, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to improve product quality and manufacturability.
