Leads the multi-year architecture and technical direction of Ripple’s financial crimes compliance control plane. Designs resilient, high-throughput distributed systems for real-time screening, transaction monitoring, vendor failover, auditability, observability, and regulatory compliance. Drives standards and adoption across engineering teams, partners with executive, compliance, legal, and product leaders, represents technical decisions to auditors and regulators, mentors senior engineers, and establishes production reliability practices.

Owns derivative accounting and hedge accounting for multiple client portfolios under ASC 815 and IFRS 9. Responsibilities include hedge documentation, effectiveness testing, journal entries, disclosures, valuation methodologies, audit support, client communication, and translating new FASB and IASB guidance. The role also strengthens internal accounting methodologies and technical guidance.

Leads Ripple’s infrastructure engineering organization, overseeing multi-cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, developer experience, and reliability engineering. Responsibilities include setting technical strategy and roadmaps, driving multi-region resilience, operational excellence, security and compliance, cloud cost efficiency, observability, and infrastructure automation. The role manages multiple teams and managers, provides hands-on architectural leadership, partners with executives and security teams, and scales the organization through hiring, mentoring, and leadership development.

Support Ripple Treasury’s customer security assurance program by completing security questionnaires, meeting with customers, maintaining security sales documentation, coordinating DORA audits, gathering evidence, and partnering with security, engineering, IT, legal, sales, and customer success teams. The role translates technical controls into clear business language, manages concurrent customer engagements, improves reusable responses and enablement materials, and escalates security, compliance, or contractual risks.

Lead the technical vision and development of Ripple’s global marketing web platform. Build scalable Next.js, Sanity, and Vercel solutions; integrate LLM-powered tools and automation; develop experimentation, personalization, analytics, and marketing technology integrations; optimize performance, SEO, caching, and deployment; establish engineering standards; lead cross-functional initiatives; and mentor engineers.

Manage global treasury operations, including cash flow transactions, entity funding, reconciliations, liquidity, digital asset payments, stablecoin operations, bank and exchange accounts, audit support, compliance, bank fees, user access, and treasury management systems. Support GTreasury implementation and automation initiatives while collaborating with Tax, Legal, Accounting, Trading, Markets, financial institutions, and other cross-functional partners.

Develop and operate scalable, highly available backend payment systems for instant cross-border settlement. Design distributed architectures, APIs, and complex features; collaborate with product, legal, and business teams; reduce technical debt; support migrations; establish engineering standards; and mentor engineers in a regulated fintech environment.

Lead strategic partnerships and business development to drive institutional adoption of XRPL in capital markets. Develop and execute capital markets strategy, negotiate complex deals with senior executives, collaborate cross-functionally on product-market fit, and represent Ripple at industry events.

Lead end-to-end, enterprise-wide transformation programs for Ripple Treasury, aligning Product, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and GTM. Define scope, success metrics, roadmaps, governance, change management, and program health reporting; identify systemic inefficiencies and drive adoption of technology (including AI/LLMs) to improve scale and performance.

Lead end-to-end, enterprise-wide transformation programs for Ripple Treasury, partnering with Product, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and GTM. Drive strategy-to-execution roadmaps, change management, program governance, risk mitigation, performance measurement, and executive reporting to embed lasting operational improvements at scale.
