Collaborate with ITSM leadership, stakeholders, and process owners to strengthen service delivery, operational efficiency, reliability, and security.

Develop predictive and advanced analytics using large, complex datasets to evaluate electricity market operations, pricing, participant activity, supply and demand, and anomalies. Lead end-to-end data science projects, investigate market outcomes, and build scalable pipelines, dashboards, alerts, and decision-support tools. Partner with Digital Technology to implement solutions using machine learning, statistical analysis, cloud platforms, data engineering, and visualization technologies.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will develop processes to support the electric grid, analyze system conditions, and design future processes for MISO.

Leads multiple software engineering teams, setting technical direction and overseeing software delivery, quality, budgets, security, and modern engineering practices. Partners with Product Management and stakeholders on roadmaps, manages vendor relationships and outsourced teams, and recruits and develops engineering talent. Champions AI-native development, CI/CD, cloud-native architectures, infrastructure-as-code, application security, and high-availability customer-facing applications in a compliance-driven environment.

Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, adoption, and lifecycle of MISO’s enterprise Cognite data integration platform. Lead discovery, define success metrics, prioritize backlogs, guide Agile delivery, coordinate releases, and align stakeholders, engineers, architects, and product teams. The role supports MVP development, organizational transformation, data integration, analytics, AI initiatives, and long-term platform innovation across the energy enterprise.

Lead design and enhancement of secure architectures across systems and cloud, perform risk assessments, guide DevSecOps and secure AI adoption, participate in security assessments, mentor teams, advise leadership on risk and compliance, and define repeatable security patterns and reference architectures.

Own the vision and roadmap for operator and market-facing grid applications. Lead discovery with operators/SMEs, prioritize backlog, define solutions, plan releases, use data and AI to guide decisions, evangelize product outcomes, and improve delivery through Agile and user-centered practices.
