Develop and maintain software for flight and mission simulators, including legacy-system modernization, real-time performance optimization, hardware integration, troubleshooting, and reliability improvements. Collaborate across engineering teams using Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies, participate in code reviews and planning, and support mission-critical pilot training systems. The role requires a computer-related bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in software engineering, U.S. citizenship, eligibility for DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access, and flexibility for shift work, overtime, and travel.

Supports cybersecurity and Risk Management Framework activities for C-17 training systems. Responsibilities include vulnerability scanning, security audits, risk analysis, eMASS control monitoring, accreditation documentation, incident response, continuous monitoring, secure configuration, disaster recovery, reporting, training, and coordination with government, contractor, engineering, maintenance, and aircraft support teams. The role requires frequent domestic and international travel and eligibility for a DoD personal security clearance.

Administer and secure IT systems by managing patching, AD/GPO, user accounts, and ICT security. Investigate incidents, perform risk assessments, recommend mitigations, and support defence-aligned security controls and standards.

Coordinate material and production planning to support program schedules and contractual logistics. Develop metrics, manage inventory and MRP/ERP-driven purchase/manufacturing orders, build logistics support plans, expedite shipments, advise program management on WIP and material availability, ensure DFAR/MMAS/AS9100 compliance, and collaborate cross-functionally to meet on-time delivery and cost objectives.

Manage Strategic Growth data pipelines and Salesforce architecture, improve forecasting and pipeline accuracy, build Tableau dashboards, partner with BD/Finance/Program Management, run monthly cadence and opportunity reviews, and translate analytics into leadership-ready narratives to support forecasting and investment decisions.

Support development, integration, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting of training and simulation software. Assist with networking, system configuration, interfacing simulation applications, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration under general technical guidance. Participate in full software lifecycle and follow engineering processes and configuration management.

Design, develop, test, and maintain real-time visual, 3D, and RADAR databases for C-17 simulation and training. Create and modify terrain and 3D models, support software/OS installations, participate in testing and validation with SMEs, produce design documentation, and provide technical support to ensure accurate, high-performance database integration.

Support configuration and data management for the C17 Training System: maintain program data packages, control documentation baselines, manage CDRLs and contractor records, track changes, coordinate with engineering and cross-functional teams, support audits, and contribute to process improvements for document control and versioning.

Support development, integration, deployment, and troubleshooting of training/simulation systems. Perform software design, coding, installation, system configuration, networking interfacing, testing, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams under general technical guidance.

Support configuration and data management for the C17 Training System: maintain and control program documentation, manage CDRLs and contractor records, track changes and baselines for courseware/hardware/software/visual databases, coordinate with cross-functional teams, support audits and corrective actions, and improve configuration/data management processes.
