Serve as the technical underwriting authority for Middle Market multinational commercial accounts. Lead industry-specific underwriting strategy, review complex referrals, set pricing and risk-selection standards, partner with actuarial, claims, risk engineering and field teams, support reinsurance and portfolio management, mentor underwriters, and drive profitable growth and consistency across assigned industry segments.

Underwrite and manage specialty insurance programs by analyzing complex risks, setting pricing and terms, developing program guidelines, coordinating reinsurance, and driving program growth. Mentor underwriting staff, collaborate with cross-functional partners, ensure regulatory compliance, and support new program implementation and marketing efforts.

Serve as the primary post-sale relationship manager for employer groups, focusing on retention, renewals, and broker support. Resolve escalated service issues, collaborate with underwriting/actuarial and internal teams, analyze client trends and reporting, promote additional products, monitor service levels, and ensure client commitments are met. Remote role with minimal travel.

Represent Nationwide as lead or team trial counsel in property and casualty insurance defense and subrogation matters. Manage a mixed caseload, conduct litigation and trials, provide legal analysis and case valuations, collaborate with claims and support staff, stay current on law and procedure, and travel as needed.
