Responsibilities include technical planning, requirements analysis, architecture trade studies, systems integration, verification and validation, technical documentation, interoperability coordination, lifecycle engineering, and cost/risk analysis. The role supports MBSE, DoDAF, MOSA, engineering reviews, and government program offices while mentoring junior engineers and translating customer requirements into integrated technical solutions.
