The Senior Systems Engineer provides technical oversight for the AN/SQQ-89 Advanced Baselines in surface ASW, manages performance requirements, conducts engineering reviews, and serves as a Subject Matter Expert in various meetings.

Performs advanced electrical engineering tasks from project planning through final design with minimal supervision. Develops engineering calculations, studies, drawings, and specifications while ensuring compliance with codes and project criteria. Conducts power system analyses, including load flow, voltage drop, short circuit, harmonic, arc flash, and relay coordination studies. Designs electrical systems, sizes equipment, and supports lighting, grounding, lightning protection, communications, and security systems using CAD and power analysis software.

Provides acquisition contract management support to the Munitions Terminal Defense Systems program office. Responsibilities include preparing procurement requests, acquisition plans, strategies, statements of work, contract documentation, security documents, and CDRLs; tracking milestones and technical instructions; coordinating with technical, financial, and contracting staff; managing acquisition meetings; and resolving execution issues. The role requires Navy or DoD acquisition experience, NAVAIR AMS proficiency, Secret clearance eligibility, and limited travel.

Provides financial management support for Navy and Department of Defense munitions programs. Responsibilities include programming, budgeting, funding execution, spend-plan development, obligation and expenditure tracking, cost analysis, financial reporting, task planning, and resolution of execution issues. The role interfaces with government financial teams and program leadership while supporting multiple appropriations and maintaining financial management systems.

Oversee a subsystem of the AN/SQQ-89 Undersea Warfare System as the government Product Owner and technical point of contact. Responsibilities include managing requirements and product backlogs, reviewing architecture and integration artifacts, coordinating testing, investigating anomalies, assessing defects and risks, maintaining requirements traceability, supporting certification, and briefing program leadership. The role collaborates with Navy Warfare Centers, technical authorities, system integrators, test teams, and fleet support personnel.

Performs electrical engineering tasks from project planning through final design under supervision. Develops calculations, studies, and drawings; reviews and approves electrical drawings; applies project criteria, codes, and design standards; and maintains proficiency with engineering software. Requires STEM education, DoD weapons-program experience, Secret clearance eligibility, and limited travel.

Supervise electrical engineering and design for complex industrial projects from planning through final design. Lead electrical design teams, coordinate with other disciplines, manage schedules, budgets, staffing, estimates, and technical deliverables, and ensure compliance with codes and regulations. Review specifications, reports, forecasts, and engineering documents; provide technical guidance, mentoring, performance management, training, and support for process improvements. Maintain professional licensure and coordinate with project and discipline leadership.
