Manage large, multidisciplinary engineering design projects for nuclear and federal clients in Oak Ridge. Plan, direct, and coordinate engineering activities to meet scope, schedule, budget, and compliance requirements, lead interdisciplinary teams, maintain client communication, and ensure required security and regulatory training and clearances.

Support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division EMP team by assessing and improving shipboard system survivability against EMP threats. Conduct vulnerability, hardening, grounding, bonding, EMC, EMI, and E3 analyses; plan and perform experiments and tests; analyze test data; evaluate shipboard systems; perform mission-risk and dependency analyses; develop technical conclusions; and prepare technical reports. Work involves pulsed power, high-voltage pulse systems, computational modeling, and electromagnetic survivability requirements.

Provides project controls support through scheduling, cost accounting, estimating, and cost and schedule control. Leads interactive planning, scheduling, and estimating sessions, coordinates with technical personnel and engineers, and evaluates cost impacts from work conditions. Supports moderately complex plans and schedules using EVMS requirements and applies knowledge of construction, operations, maintenance, and project startup.
