Designs and improves manufacturing systems, labor standards, plant layouts, workflows, and production methods. Conducts ergonomics, time-and-motion, cycle-time, value-stream mapping, and process studies; resolves bottlenecks; supports labor allocation, engineering changes, cost-saving initiatives, and continuous improvement. Partners with production, quality, supervision, and UAW teams to optimize efficiency, quality, manpower utilization, and line balancing.

Lead Ford Racing’s NASCAR stock car program, owning strategy, budgets, cycle planning, technical leadership, partner and supplier relationships, NASCAR compliance, problem resolution, innovation, and team development. The role manages cross-functional employees and partner organizations in a fast-paced racing environment, representing the program to leadership and driving performance toward race wins and championships.

Lead evaluation, structuring, and execution of strategic investments, acquisitions, joint ventures and partnerships. Build financial models and valuations, support due diligence, prepare investment memoranda and presentations for senior leadership and the Board, negotiate deal terms, coordinate cross-functional teams, and source/assess market and technology opportunities to advance corporate strategy.

Responsibilities include sourcing execution, cost and quality performance, launch readiness, regulatory compliance, supplier collaboration, program analysis, risk escalation, cross-functional coordination, and team development. The role supports vehicle launches by managing milestones, localization studies, sourcing evaluations, business cases, and relationships across Purchasing, Product Development, Manufacturing, Finance, Planning, and MP&L.

Lead functional safety development for ADAS vehicle programs, including HARA, safety concepts, DFMEA, FTA, DFA, verification and validation planning, test case development, safety audits, and safety case creation. Collaborate with systems, hardware, software, and validation teams to deliver compliant products using ISO 26262. The role requires substantial functional safety, mass-production, automotive development, and model-based systems engineering experience.

Leads the technical development of static and dynamic sealing systems for transmissions, axles, and drive units. Owns sealing requirements, design specifications, FMEA documentation, testing, warranty issue resolution, supplier quality reviews, and technical signoff. Provides engineering guidance to global design teams, mentors engineers, conducts benchmarking and CAE-based optimization, and leads design reviews, training, and cross-functional problem solving across powertrain and driveline programs.
