Lead architecture, design, and implementation of scalable platform capabilities for enterprise deployments. Build and operate distributed systems, containerized microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and observability; troubleshoot performance issues; mentor engineers and influence cross-team technical roadmaps.

Lead system- and board-level design for hyperscaler switches: define specs, create schematics/PCB, FPGA/ASIC design and bring-up, debug high-speed interfaces, coordinate across ASIC, SI, software, diagnostics, manufacturing, and supplier teams to resolve design issues.

Lead design and implementation of BIOS, BSP, kernel and user-space device drivers, and diagnostics for Cisco routing products. Develop and test drivers for FPGA and networking peripherals, create and execute software test plans, debug prototypes with cross-functional teams, and lead technical reviews to validate embedded systems and networking hardware.

Perform SI/PI analysis and verification for ASIC packaging, develop and document ultra-high-speed signaling design rules, perform pre/post-layout simulations and extraction, collaborate with layout, system partners and vendors to resolve SI/PI issues, and prepare designs for high-volume release.

Lead SI/PI technical work for next-generation ASIC packaging: define design rules, run pre/post-layout SI/PI simulations, analyze substrate SI/PI, collaborate with layout and system teams, mentor engineers, and drive packaging design and validation for high-performance ASICs.

Design and validate next-generation network switches: create system block diagrams, review schematics/layouts, perform hardware bring-up, debugging, validation, and yield bring-up with ODM/JDM partners. Collaborate with ASIC and component suppliers, software teams, and cross-functional groups through NPI to production and sustainment.
