Lead product efforts to migrate Capital One’s Card Core off the mainframe, focusing on batch data onboarding and the customer onboarding experience. Act as the strategic bridge between users and engineering to ensure thousands of historical batch consumers transition smoothly to a new proprietary core. Drive cross-functional execution, balance architecture and delivery, and apply Capital One’s product framework to deliver scalable, self-service solutions.

Implement and govern an enterprise-wide process hierarchy to support risk identification, assessment, and reporting. Partner with first-line leaders and stakeholders to drive process consistency, enable risk aggregation and visibility, support audits/exams, and lead process improvements to enhance efficiency and data integrity.

Lead a portfolio of backend engineering projects and a team building distributed microservices and full-stack systems to meet regulatory needs. Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions at scale, mentor engineers, stay current with technologies, and occasionally write or evaluate code.

Lead strategy and delivery of workforce and intelligent routing data products. Define long-term data product vision, partner across data and technology teams, translate technical tradeoffs for stakeholders, and build human-centered solutions that optimize workforce efficiency and customer-agent routing.

Lead Card Core product strategy, balance near-term needs with long-term platform enablement, manage stakeholder relationships, oversee product risk and health, drive product management best practices, and leverage AI to build tooling that accelerates and improves customer onboarding.

Serve as a 2nd-line operational risk manager providing challenge and advisory to 1st-line business partners. Perform risk and control assessments (RCSA, PLA, PRA), analyze data to identify risks, document findings, drive remediation plans, and collaborate with Risk, Audit, and business stakeholders to implement ERM standards.

Lead teams and projects to design, build, and operate scalable, highly available payment systems. Mentor engineers, collaborate with product managers, deliver cloud-native full‑stack solutions using microservices, containers, databases, and AWS/Azure/GCP technologies, and occasionally write or review code.

Provide second-line operational risk challenge and advisory to first-line Business Risk Offices. Assess and validate RCSA, PLA, PRA and launch processes, document findings, perform data analysis, develop remediation plans, and collaborate with risk, audit, and enterprise stakeholders to mitigate operational risk.
