Administer the ecommerce platform and manage end-to-end order processing, including web orders, picklists, shipping, invoicing, fulfillment tracking, and returns. Serve customers via phone and email for parts, availability, and technical questions. Advises product development teams, coordinates safety and regulatory reviews, resolves compliance issues, supports third-party certifications, and reviews manuals, product markings, and marketing materials. Maintains compliance documentation, tracks standards changes, represents the company on standards committees, and collaborates with Legal on safety and regulatory matters.

Develop and integrate perception algorithms for autonomous outdoor robots, including computer vision, object detection, SLAM, localization, sensor fusion, and terrain analysis. Build ROS 2-based perception software, process 2D and 3D sensor data, optimize algorithms for embedded platforms, and validate systems through simulation, field testing, and recorded datasets. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to advance autonomous perception systems.

Prepare and maintain product cost estimates and models, support budgeting and ROI decisions, participate in NPD and design/cost improvement activities, apply DFMA and value engineering, coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams, administer costing procedures, and drive cost reduction and standardization.

Lead and support electric product safety and regulatory compliance: supervise safety testing, interpret standards (ANSI/IEC/UL), advise product teams, represent the company on standards committees, support EU risk assessments, review manuals/decals, coordinate with Legal and Quality, and travel for committee meetings, testing, investigations, and vendor/manufacturing visits.

The Electrical Design Engineer will design and select components for electrical/electronic systems, create schematics using ECAD software, and collaborate with suppliers and technicians.

Research, write, and produce operator manuals, installation and setup instructions using text, graphics, animations, and video. Create illustrations and storyboards, apply reuse and metadata, follow Toro style guides, route content for review with engineering and cross-functional SMEs, manage multiple documentation projects to meet production schedules.
