Manage and grow engineers, including hiring, performance, and career development. Partner with Product Engineering, Security, and Data leaders to improve developer productivity and platform scalability. The role requires extensive engineering and management experience, infrastructure or platform leadership, cloud and Kubernetes expertise, and experience operating highly available production systems.

Lead Patreon’s Payments engineering team, setting technical direction and roadmap priorities for billing, checkout, payout, compliance, and payment infrastructure. Drive reliability initiatives, international payment expansion, vendor and build-versus-buy decisions, and cross-functional planning. Manage and develop a 10–12-person engineering team, oversee hiring and performance, and deliver reliable, high-quality payment experiences for creators and fans.

Design and ship end-to-end product experiences that help Patreon creators build businesses and connect with fans. The role involves solving complex product problems through research, prototyping, iteration, and polished execution. The designer will own projects from exploration through launch, collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Research, and contribute to product vision, design craft, and team collaboration.

Own Patreon’s lifecycle marketing strategy across fan and creator audiences. Build and optimize Braze campaigns and journeys, establish operating processes, manage marketing technology and data quality, oversee deliverability and compliance, define measurement and experimentation, and lead cross-functional initiatives. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution and requires strong judgment, technical fluency, and lifecycle expertise.

Manage growth and success for a portfolio of 100–150 top creators. Develop data-backed recommendations, lead cohort programming and strategic sessions, support inbound questions, drive revenue and product adoption, identify trends, and relay feedback to product teams. Maintain documentation and collaborate cross-functionally to improve the creator experience.

Lead a team of 6–7 product designers and serve as a senior design leadership partner. Stay involved in product craft through Figma, prototyping, or production code while collaborating with product and engineering. Drive distinctive consumer software experiences, build high-performing design teams, develop talent, apply AI to improve team outcomes, influence strategy across functions, and represent Patreon's design work externally.

Lead the technical strategy for Patreon's backend platform, managing scalable distributed systems, APIs, and infrastructure. Collaborate with product teams and mentor staff engineers, emphasizing reliability and operational excellence.

Lead Patreon’s compensation strategy, market benchmarking, total rewards and equity programs. Manage annual and mid-year review cycles, pay equity analysis, bonus payouts, compensation data and tools, compliance, reporting, employee education, and cross-functional partnerships with HR, Finance, Legal, and Talent Acquisition. Coach and develop team members while ensuring compensation programs remain competitive, equitable, accurate, and aligned with business goals.
