Lead Mercury's educational blog end-to-end: plan, assign, edit, publish, and optimize content. Write and package content for blogs, newsletters, and campaigns. Manage freelancers and agencies, partner with SEO, product marketing, communications, and design, and use performance data and AI tools to scale reach and business impact.

Lead sales and relationship development across the startup and venture ecosystem. Win new business from founders, manage opportunities through close, build relationships with venture firms and accelerators, and host events that generate meaningful connections. Collaborate with partnerships and relationship management teams on ecosystem initiatives, communicate Mercury’s fintech and banking tools, and share market insights to inform product and ecosystem strategy. This is a quota-carrying role with 25–30% travel to industry events.

Own Mercury’s identity, roles, permissions, authorization, and user invitation platform. Develop scalable permission models, enable product teams to build on the platform, improve team onboarding, and define how authorization evolves for enterprise customers and agentic users. Lead research, design, engineering, go-to-market, and stakeholder management independently while balancing platform power with product simplicity.

Provide legal advice on payments products, rails, partner relationships, and AML/sanctions matters. Embed with product, compliance, risk, engineering, and operations teams from ideation through launch. Support financial crimes initiatives, build scalable legal frameworks and guidance, evaluate new payment capabilities, and apply AI tools to improve legal workflows and efficiency.

Lead the design and roadmap for Mercury's Dashboard (Home, Tasks, Notifications). Define unified logic for tasks, lifecycle updates, and alerts; partner with product teams and design; own vision, sequencing, and execution of a multi-phase redesign; balance user needs with cross-product dependencies; present strategy to leadership and use qualitative and quantitative insights to prioritize work.

Lead product marketing for Cards and Spend Management: define positioning, GTM strategy, launches, lifecycle, and measurement. Conduct customer and competitive research, collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing, enable sales, and drive adoption and revenue growth.

Own and grow Mercury's lending partner portfolio, manage partner selection, due diligence, onboarding, and contract negotiations. Serve as primary partner contact and translate technical, regulatory, and operational partner requirements into actionable internal plans across product, engineering, compliance, legal, operations, and exec teams to support scalable, compliant lending infrastructure.

Design, build, and ship LLM-powered Command capabilities and agentic workflows end-to-end. Own prompt architecture, model tuning, tool schemas, streaming front-end behavior, and reliability. Build eval harnesses, define testing metrics with product and compliance, and monitor post-launch quality. Mentor engineers and scale production LLM systems for performance, cost, and compliance.
