Owns automation and verification for software subsystems supporting next-generation sequencing instruments. Responsibilities include adhesive and epoxy bonding, laser processing, singulation, automated assembly, wire bonding, experimentation, process qualification, statistical analysis, root-cause investigation, documentation, change control, and production ramp support. The engineer collaborates with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Equipment Engineering, Facilities, EHS, and suppliers to establish safe, capable, compliant, and reliable processes.

Develop and scale robust, high-volume manufacturing processes for new consumable products. Lead process development, controlled experiments, DOE, root-cause investigations, change management, and process transfers in a regulated production environment. Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams; serve as a subject matter expert on critical process characteristics; apply SPC, FMEA, Gauge R&R, CPM, and DFM; and lead technical project teams through commercialization.

Serves as senior functional owner for Workday Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, and payroll integrations. Leads configuration, solution design, requirements, testing, reporting, data reconciliation, security controls, releases, and global HR technology initiatives. Diagnoses complex system and interface issues, creates operational documentation, manages risks and dependencies, and coaches analysts and project teams while partnering with Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Technology, Audit, and vendors.

Leads Illumina’s on-market product portfolio from pre-launch through end of life. Oversees portfolio governance, prioritization, sustaining investments, quality, compliance, lifecycle planning, resource allocation, risk management, and performance reporting. Partners cross-functionally with Development, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Marketing, and Commercial teams to improve product health, customer value, and business outcomes. Manages and mentors portfolio and program leadership staff while driving continuous process improvement and executive stakeholder alignment.
