Leads budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, financial modeling, scenario analysis, performance reporting, and executive financial analysis. Partners with Finance and business leaders to evaluate financial and operational trends, identify risks and opportunities, recommend improvements, and support strategic investments and capital planning. Lead technical demonstrations, field evaluations, and deployments of SATCOM terminals and electronically steered antennas. Configure and troubleshoot modems, RF equipment, networking infrastructure, and satellite communications systems. Develop architectures, proposal content, performance analyses, and customer-facing presentations while translating operational requirements into technical solutions. Partner with business development, account management, product, and engineering teams throughout customer evaluations and procurement. Frequent travel to customer sites, test ranges, integration facilities, and industry events is required.

Leads embedded software architecture and technical direction across complex aerospace and airborne products. Develops firmware, real-time applications, device drivers, middleware, and software platforms; oversees verification, validation, debugging, integration, and performance optimization. Advises leadership, customers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams, drives software quality and engineering methodologies, leads technical investigations and architecture reviews, and mentors senior engineers. Requires deep expertise in C/C++, Python, RTOS, hardware interfaces, embedded architectures, and low-level software development.

Lead systems engineering for phased-array aerospace communication systems: translate mission and customer requirements into system architectures, define and execute verification/validation strategies, develop traceability and verification documentation, support integration & test, evaluate test results and corrective actions, mentor junior engineers, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and support mission readiness, launch, and on-orbit operations.

Lead design and evolution of end-to-end space and ground system architectures for satellites, communications payloads, and supporting software. Translate requirements into architectures, define interfaces, create CONOPS and documentation, perform system-level analysis and trade studies, develop roadmaps, evaluate new capabilities, and support proposals and customer engagements.

Manage and grow an electronics engineering lab: assemble, rework, integrate and test complex RF/power/digital circuit boards; maintain equipment, calibration, supplies, safety/compliance; mentor technicians and deliver lab training.

Lead design and delivery of power electronics for SATCOM terminals, including power architecture, DC-DC and AC-DC converter design (up to 20+kW), simulation and analysis, PCB bring-up, verification testing, system integration, production transition, and mentoring a small team.

Design and implement PCB-level spacecraft electronics from requirements through production. Own board development, create block diagrams, perform part-selection trade studies, integrate and troubleshoot subsystems, and use lab instruments for validation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and learn from senior engineers while contributing to system performance, reliability, and mission objectives.
