Lead a team of engineers and operations staff to develop and implement manufacturing build plans, improve processes, ensure quality and safety, resolve root causes, manage schedules and metrics, and communicate progress to senior leadership while spending significant time on the factory floor.

Responsibilities include GNC design and analysis, flight control software development and verification, sensor/actuator selection, interfacing with systems and program teams, managing cost/schedule/risk, supporting satellite integration, test, and on-orbit operations, and providing technical leadership and mentorship as the REA for program GNC delivery.

Design, analyze, test, certify, and support flight control and mechanical hydraulic systems and components for the 787. Translate airplane requirements to system/component requirements, lead design and validation testing, produce certification artifacts, resolve production and fleet issues, perform trade studies and simulations, and coordinate cross-functionally with suppliers, manufacturing, avionics, safety, and customers.

Lead technical strategy, design, integration, and test of high-energy laser (HEL) and electro-optical systems. Provide system architecture, modeling/simulation, risk assessments, integration/test plans, laser hazard analysis, cross-disciplinary coordination, mentorship, and customer engagement for HEL deployment and sustainment.

Lead and manage production build and modification of two USAF E-7 prototype aircraft during a 12-18 month UK assignment. Drive production performance to meet cost and schedule, engage executives and customers, manage cross-functional teams and third-party suppliers, ensure operational excellence, identify and mitigate risks, and report program status to leadership.

Design, manage, and maintain business process architecture and improvement initiatives. Use process methodologies and tools to capture, analyze, and integrate process and data designs. Partner with managers, SMEs, vendors, and IT to define system requirements, integrate ERP/logistics/supplier data, and perform transactional data analysis for procured part forecasting and demand.

Lead development, integration, verification, and validation of complex aircraft systems. Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage requirements and risks, support certification and flight test, mentor engineers, and document designs and trade studies to ensure production readiness and compliance.
