Manage and lead a flight software engineering team delivering embedded real-time software for satellite programs. Oversee full software lifecycle, cost account management, IPT duties, supplier technical management, process improvements, employee development, and approval of technical approaches to meet program scope, schedule, and cost.

Support H-47 Chinook technical integration by capturing requirements, resolving cross-functional technical issues, managing change requests, leading proposals, coordinating program plans/schedules/budgets, and briefing customers and leadership. Travel as required to support program execution.

Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for weapons programs. Translate requirements into designs, develop interfaces, perform unit/integration testing, support system integration, participate in peer reviews, and create documentation while meeting safety, security, and regulatory standards.

Maintain and improve thermal, vacuum, and vibration test processes and equipment; troubleshoot failures, implement corrective actions, and develop automation and SOPs to increase throughput and reliability while ensuring safety and export/security compliance.

The role involves developing, integrating, and documenting payload system requirements, working on technical design projects, and improving design processes for Boeing's interiors organization.

Manage supplier activities and contracts, source and evaluate suppliers, develop RFQs/RFPs, negotiate and award contracts, oversee post-award supplier performance, inventory planning and forecasting, change management, cost/affordability tracking, and represent Integrated Product Teams to support defense aerospace programs.

Serve as subject matter expert for hydraulics and fuel subsystems, lead systems engineering for integration and test, develop requirements and verification plans, conduct trade studies and risk assessments, oversee hardware/software integration and ground/flight testing, mentor engineers, and present technical reports to stakeholders.

The Technical Designer will develop and document interior payload system requirements, support customer configuration, and integrate engineering solutions throughout the aircraft product lifecycle.
