Lead payload design, procurement, integration, and test for a commercial satellite. Manage resources, suppliers, schedules, and AI&T activities; develop and maintain integration and test plans; ensure technical correctness, process compliance, and performance metrics; coordinate cross-functional teams to meet customer and program requirements.

Translate customer requirements into software architecture, perform unit/integration testing, support system integration and verification, participate in peer reviews, and produce software documentation while meeting safety, regulatory, and customer standards.

Design, develop, and verify RF, digital, and optical satellite communications payloads. Perform system CONOPS, requirements definition, link and performance analyses, tool development (MATLAB/OOP), integration, test, and supplier oversight across program lifecycle from concept through on-orbit operations.

The engineer will design and analyze low observable materials and technologies, perform electromagnetic analysis, and support testing while producing technical documentation.

Design and validate aircraft structural and interior payload systems for legacy platforms. Review supplier design changes for compliance, execute design releases, coordinate cross-functional engineering, lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and improve analytical processes using industry CAD/PDM tools.

Support development and coordination of integrated and detailed commitment schedules below the IMS level. Work with CAMs, team schedulers, and integrators to assess change impacts, track performance variances, and support production and engineering release schedules. Prepare schedule-related products and integrate plans across functions, suppliers, and partners.
