Build and operate cloud data platform components for ingestion, transformation, validation, and serving across batch and near-real-time pipelines. Own lakehouse and warehouse foundations, data contracts, lineage, quality checks, and performance/cost optimizations. Create orchestration patterns, shared libraries, CI checks, and runbooks. Partner with product, telemetry, analytics, and ML teams to standardize dataset publishing and ensure dependable, discoverable, and performant data for operational decisions and analytics.

Develop multi-month test campaigns, validate electromagnetic and thermal models, design/oversee custom large-scale test rigs, run reliability and failure analysis, and translate test data into vehicle diagnostics. Partner closely with design, electrical, and controls teams to validate models and drive rapid hardware problem solving in fast-moving hardware programs.

Design, build, and sustain electromechanical test equipment for batteries and power electronics. Deliver end-to-end test systems combining mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, controls, safety, and automation. Create CAD, schematics, wiring, automation scripts, and manufacturing documentation. Commission, validate, troubleshoot, and improve lab and production test fixtures while collaborating across mechanical, electrical, software, reliability, manufacturing, and field teams.

Own outbound shipments from order release through carrier handoff. Pick, stage, verify, and package serialized and high-value parts. Prepare shipment documents, coordinate pickups, complete ERP/WMS transactions, resolve inventory discrepancies, and partner across teams to protect traceability and ensure on-time deliveries.

Lead development and validation of dynamic models, controls algorithms, and high-fidelity six-degree-of-freedom simulations. Analyze flight-test and fleet data to improve model fidelity, evaluate vehicle designs, recommend controls and system improvements, and build reusable analysis tools to inform engineering and operational decisions.

Lead a 5–9 person aerodynamics team to define and deliver aerodynamic and aeroacoustic performance for Zipline vehicles. Own CFD/modeling, experimental testing (wind tunnel, flight-test), propeller trade studies, release-quality geometry, and aero health metrics. Interface cross-functionally to drive design, validation, manufacturability, and operational performance with regular domestic travel for flight tests.

Lead national land use, zoning, entitlements, and permitting strategy for Zipline’s U.S. expansion. Build municipal relationships, represent the company at public hearings, interpret and draft ordinances, and coordinate cross-functionally with Operations, Real Estate, and Engineering to enable site deployments and regulatory approvals.

Develop, validate, and own cell- and pack-level battery models (SPM/SPMe/P2D and equivalent circuit) and electro-thermal models. Design and analyze EIS, HPPC, OCV, and aging test campaigns. Build battery state estimation and charging/aging-aware algorithms and integrate models into simulation and fleet software. Lead cell selection and vendor benchmarking and collaborate cross-functionally to deploy validated models into operations.
