Support vehicle build and verification across the Terran R lifecycle: define and own verification activities, write/review test objectives, matrices, and plans, drive qualification and hotfire campaigns, enable scalable manufacturing, balance technical/cost/schedule tradeoffs, and support integration, test, and launch site checkouts with potential travel and shifted schedules.

Lead engine system trades, manage interfaces, and support engine system development while mentoring teams with minimal oversight. Heavy emphasis on fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.

Lead avionics system-level integration, validation, testing, and operations for Terran R. Design and execute component, subsystem, and vehicle-level test plans, develop CONOPs, automation, and test infrastructure, support integrated testbeds, on-console operations, and data review during stage tests and launches.

Lead design, build, integration, and validation of ground test and launch support systems for avionics and flight hardware. Collaborate cross-functionally to develop robust electrical and electromechanical systems, author interface control documents and drawings, oversee fabrication and bring-up, and ensure safety and operability during engine test, vehicle integration, and launch.

Responsible for the design, operation, and maintenance of the launch pad for Terran R. This includes fluid system design, modeling, and supervising construction.

Lead Supplier Development Engineering team, set supplier development strategy and metrics, manage supplier performance and risk, and ensure compliance and quality processes.

Lead the testing process for the Terran R vehicle by designing test capabilities, managing a team of engineers, authoring procedures, and ensuring quality in high-volume production.

Lead full design cycle for Terran R primary and secondary structures: concept, analysis, sizing, drawings, testing, and manufacturing support. Use CAD and FEA tools to reduce mass and parts, own designs from requirements through production, and drive test campaigns and manufacturability improvements.

Conduct propulsion tests and launch operations for rocket stages and engines. Develop automated test sequences, procedures, and data-review processes; command and monitor launch-pad and flight hardware through control, automation, and telemetry systems. Configure hardware, troubleshoot cross-disciplinary issues, analyze test data, and collaborate with design engineers to improve vehicle performance. The role requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends, during schedule-driven launch operations.

Own and architect a space-based storage platform spanning Linux kernel drivers, NVMe recovery, ZFS pool design, NFS serving, and automated fault recovery. Develop radiation-resilient storage systems, reliability models, fault-injection tests, and integration between drivers and filesystems. Prototype on commodity hardware, validate sustained high-throughput operation, and carry the architecture through platform integration and launch.
